MINDS (Multidisciplinary Inter-institutional
Network on Development and Strategies)
reflects the convergence among academic
trajectories, research interests,
policy-making experience and political
convictions of a group of individuals
concerned with the public dimensions
of intellectual and academic work.
In its analytical dimension, the Project
is forged by a comprehensive (interdisciplinary)
understanding of globalization in
both its sources and its effects,
and by convergent approaches in the
fields of economics of innovation,
competition and new regulatory devices,
comparative institutional analysis,
conflict sociology, business organization
and strategy, macro-finance, the developmental
state as a key player, international
organizations, and social inclusion’
strategies and policies .
It is conceived as set of initiatives,
to be developed as a cluster of activities,
targeting a broad audience, and aiming
to constitute a focused network on
development strategies (both in its
Public-policy and in its Corporate
dimensions) and policy analysis and
proposals, having Globalization as
a major shaping force .
In its international relations dimension,
MINDS aims to contribute to develop
an analytical framework and a policy
proposal’s basis for the South-South
and North-South multilevel dialogue.
